XXXXX-XXXXX ACT (PREVAILING WAGE. If this Agreement is a prime construction contract in excess of $2,000, the VENDOR (and its Subcontractors) must comply with the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act as codified in 40 U.S.C. §§ 3141-3148 and as supplemented by Department of Labor Regulations in 29 C.F.R. Part 5. During performance of this Agreement, XXXXXX agrees as follows: a. All transactions regarding this contract shall be done in compliance with the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act (40 U.S.C §§ 3141-3144, and 3146-3148) and the requirements of 29 C.F.R. Part 5 as may be applicable. The VENDOR shall comply with 40 U.S.C. §§ 3141-3144, and 3146-3148 and the requirements of 29 C.F.R. part 5 as applicable. b. Contractors are required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor. c. Additionally, contractors are required to pay wages not less than once a week.
