Xxxxxxx Professional Development Committee (RPDC. Recognizing the importance of an in-service education program which meets the needs of the district and staff, the parties agree to establish a district-wide in-service committee. A minimum committee shall consist of one teacher from each attendance center, as elected by the majority of each building’s teaching staff and the District Curriculum Director. The RPDC shall meet a minimum of 2 times per year. The RPDC will evaluate the use of each non-contact day to assure quality and effectiveness, based upon guidelines developed by the Superintendent’s designee with input from the RPDC. A yearly survey will be given to the staff to determine their needs and along with input from SBC, RPDC as well as any State Authorized staff development requirements, the Superintendent’s designee will establish the next year’s non-contact days to be placed on the calendar.
