Xxxxxxx’x Role. The Xxxxxxx or designee will consider the cumulative 46 evaluations received from the faculty committee, the department or unit head, and the xxxx. 2 If the Xxxxxxx or designee concludes that the bargaining unit faculty member’s overall 3 performance was in the highest or second highest categories, the bargaining unit faculty 4 members will receive an increase in their base salary per Article 26. 6 If the Xxxxxxx or designee concludes that the bargaining unit faculty member’s overall 7 performance is unsatisfactory, the xxxx and the department or unit head shall consult with the 8 bargaining unit faculty member and recommend to the Xxxxxxx a development plan for 9 demonstrable improvement. Such development plan should be implemented as soon as 10 practicable after a determination of unsatisfactory performance and have a goal of reaching 11 satisfactory performance by the next scheduled 3-year post-tenure review.
