Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx 0 Clinical Trials. With respect to an Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx 0 Clinical Trial, independent of the rest of the Development Plan/Budget, Acceleron shall prepare a proposal for a budget to apply to each such Clinical Trial and present it to the Joint Development Committee. For an Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx 0 Clinical Trial, Acceleron will prepare a protocol for such Clinical Trial which is consistent with industry standards for a similarly-situated product, including with respect to scope, cost, duration of treatment and size of subject population. The Joint Development Committee shall then review Acceleron’s proposal and approve a reasonable budget for such Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx 0 Clinical Trial. If an Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx 0 Clinical Trial is put on Clinical Hold, the Joint Development Committee shall modify the budget to appropriately reflect the costs associated with the wind-down of activities associated with the applicable Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx 0 Clinical Trial.
