Common use of XYZ Intellectual Property Clause in Contracts

XYZ Intellectual Property. XYZ shall own all rights in (a) any Invention conceived or discovered solely by XYZ Research Personnel without the use of University’s resources including facilities, equipment and funds in the course of the Research Project (“XYZ Invention”) and (b) any copyright or copyrightable material created solely by XYZ Research Personnel without the use of University’s resources including facilities, equipment and funds in the course of the Research Project (“XYZ Copyright”).
