Common use of Your only home Clause in Contracts

Your only home. You must occupy the property as your only or principal home. You must move into your property on the day the tenancy starts. We will conduct periodic home visits. If you don’t use the property as your only or principal home, we will take action to end the tenancy by serving a notice to quit. This notice can take any form. If requested by the Council, you must provide proof:  of your identity and the identity of anyone living with you; and  that you are living in the property as your only or principal home.
