On August 14, 2007, Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent, Inc., (Newfield), entered into an agreement with Lexington Resources, Inc., (Lexington), and Paluca Energy, LLC, (Paluca), to purchase all right title and interest of Lexington and Paluca.
