NYMEX, SHAREHOLDER REACH AGREEMENT IN BOOKS AND RECORDS CASE
New York, N.Y., January 30, 2006 -- NYMEX Holdings, Inc., and stockholder Xxxxxxx X. Xxxxxxx jointly announced today that they have reached an agreement in principle to resolve the books-and-records action brought by Xx. Xxxxxxx in the Delaware Court of Chancery pursuant to which the Company will permit Xx. Xxxxxxx to inspect certain books and records. The terms of the agreement are confidential.
