An “Improvements Agreement” (“IA”) is an agreement specially drafted for and sent to each individual applicant for a SPR or USR Permit by a representative of the Weld County Department of Public Works. The IA will take into consideration the site, the nature of the business or activity being permitted, and the type and extent to which that business/activity will use County roads. With this in mind, the form IA as seen on this website is only an example to give the public an indication of the format and issues addressed in the IA, and includes types and kinds of property and/or road improvements which could be required of an applicant for a Special Use Permit (SPR), or a Use by Special Review Permit (USR). Do not think of the form IA as something that may be used to “fill in the blanks” and then be ready to submit for approval by the Board of County Commissioners.
