This Agreement for Law Enforcement Services (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Comal County, Texas (“Contractor”), a political subdivision of the State of Texas, and Comal County Water Oriented Recreation District (“WORD”), a political subdivision of the State of Texas, under the authority granted to each by Chapter 791, Texas Government Code, which allows local political subdivisions to enter into interlocal cooperation agreements for governmental purposes.
