Agreement for Third-Party Probation Services.December 20th, 2022
In accordance with the Official Code of Georgia Annotated 42-8-101(a)(1) and at the request the Chief Judge of the Superior Court of Cherokee County, this agreement has been developed to allow for the assignment of probationary services to a private organization at the direction and discretion of the Court. These services are paid by those who are using the program and not the County, so there are no County funds required to support these activities. The agreement contemplates a five (5) year term, yet also allows the Chief Judge to terminate this agreement upon written notice.
