Contract Type FiledJuly 17th, 2024This Memorandum of Understanding is entered into by and between the City of East Palo Alto, hereafter referred to as “City”, acting through its negotiator, and employees in the miscellaneous unit of the of the City as represented by Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 521, hereafter referred to as “Union”, pursuant to the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act (Government Code Section 3500-35100). Pursuant to Federal and California law, the City and Union have met and conferred in good faith and have fully communicated and exchanged information concerning wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment for the term of this agreement. It is the intent of the Parties to set forth herein their entire agreement covering rates of pay, wages, working hours, and other conditions of employment and to provide for prompt and fair settlement of grievances without interruption or other interference with the normal operations of the City.
