In consideration of participating in the Special Olympics Maryland MSP Polar Bear Plunge (“Activity”), I represent that I understand the nature of Polar Bear Plunge events and that I and/or my minor child am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in such Activity. I acknowledge that if I and/or my minor child believe event conditions are unsafe, I and/or my minor child will immediately discontinue participation in the Activity. I further acknowledge that I am and/or my minor child is participating in the Activity in a location and under circumstances that I have chosen, assessed, and deemed safe, and that any risks associated with participating in the Activity are risks I have chosen to assume for me and/or or my minor child, and that none of the Releasees, as defined below, have made any choices for, or imposed any risks on, me and/or my minor child.
