This report is the result of my 2nd site visit to the Henley-Young Juvenile Justice Center—Detention Division on September 20 – 21, 2016. My impressions, comments and recommendations are based on my observations during the site visit; interviews with staff, management, and youth; review of the health records of the detained youth; my medical education, training and knowledge; my experience working in/with juvenile justice facilities; and my understanding of the standards and current best practices with regard to medical services in juvenile justice facilities.
