Acknowledging that there are certain risks involved in marine activities, boat owners, operators, and guests use The Historical Society’s dock and pier AT THEIR OWN RISK and are subject to the rules included herein. The Historical Society DOES NOT MAINTAIN SECURITY ON THE SITE and will not be responsible for accidents or injuries due to careless or reckless behavior on the part of users of the facility, or for any loss from fire, theft, vandalism, storm, or any other casualty . Boat owners will be responsible for any damage to Historical Society property, and/or the persons and property of others caused by themselves, their guests, or their boats and/or equipment. Boat owners must provide their own fenders and dock lines.
