RE: RES-20-070-R AUTHORIZING A LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR USE OF LAND (HOTDOG CART)License Agreement • April 24th, 2020 • Illinois
Contract Type FiledApril 24th, 2020 JurisdictionJohn and Alena Grace Dryden own a hotdog cart business, Bully Dogs, and have requested that the City consider providing them with a license to use a portion of City-owned property located on N. Water St. near the intersection of Houston St.. The Batavia Popcorn Depot also occupies a portion of that parcel. However, enough additional space remains for the Dryden’s to operate their hotdog cart. The City has no other use for this property. The Drydens have agreed to pay an annual license fee of $300, the same as the Batavia Popcorn Depot. The Agreement is for one year, automatically renewable for an additional year unless notice of termination is provided according to the terms of the Agreement.
