Now is to my writing, to my mentor, and to the group as a whole. I agree to participate in all weekly pair sessions and monthly workshops, and a public reading or digital exhibition. I will also make a serious effort to attend college prep activities as well as all other special field trips and events. I will submit drafts to my online portfolio and polished pieces to any award contests, events, exhibitions, and/or anthologies required by my program, and, optionally, will contribute to the Girls Write Now website. If I discover that I am unable to attend an event, I will notify my mentor and GWN staff immediately. I understand that I will be asked to reevaluate my commitment to Girls Write Now if I miss more than two workshops without advance notice or have been negligent in my writing partnership.
