The European Project AIDS & Mobility (A&M) is a networking project that is aimed at the issue of migration and HIV/AIDS in Europe. It has been set up in 1991 at the request of the World Health Organization/Regional Office for Europe. As from April 1992, the project receives funding by the European Commission. Originally, the project was co-ordinated by the National AIDS Commission of the Netherlands (NCAB). As from 1996, it is co-ordinated at the Netherlands Institute for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (NIGZ).
