The certified historic adaptive reuse of the previously vacant Central Building resulted in 29 high quality permanent affordable rental units for older adults aged 55 and older. To date, 25 units are leased, with an additional 3 tenants scheduled for a November move-in. The project was completed on schedule and slightly under budget with a total development cost of $7,879,769. CHOM is thrilled with the results of the rehabilitation and delighted to be part of the Hallowell community.
