THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 20 , by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," and Walden House, hereinafter called "Contractor"; W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department thereof; WHEREAS, ON August 15, 2006, under resolution # 068222, the parties entered into a Fee For Service Agreement; and WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement to add additional services; and increase the amount of funding for the following services: 1) Drug Court Partnership Grant (DCP) by $44,968, for a total of $132,284; 2) Comprehensive Drug Court Implementation Grant (CDCI) by $152,326, for a total of $291,131; for a combined total increase of $197,294, for the first half of FY 2007-08; for a new total obligation of$423,415; and to extend the term to 12/31/2007.
