The Plumas National Forest used its Native Plant Materials funding to enter into a Challenge Cost Share Agreement (Agreement # 07-CS-11051150- 034) with Feather River Community College District for use of their Greenhouse Facility. The Agreement commits the College and the Plumas NF to a five-year partnership for shared use and maintenance of the Greenhouse. The agreement allows the Plumas NF use of up 1/3 of the square footage of the Greenhouse facility upon completion of maintenance to the Greenhouse water, heating and cooling systems. Native plant material funding from the Forest Service will be used by the college to make the greenhouse operational for use by the Plumas NF by Spring 2008.
