The 2019 Novel Coronavirus/COVID-19 is a worldwide medical crisis. It is extremely contagious and is transmitted person-to-person, through direct, indirect or close contact. There is currently no known treatment, cure or vaccine for COVID-19. It is the purpose of this waiver agreement to exempt and release Lexington- Bedford Youth Hockey, Inc. (“LBYH”) from any and all liability for any legal claims related to COVID-19. LBYH cannot prevent any spectator, coach or player (hereinafter, “Participant”) from being exposed to, contracting or spreading COVID-19 while acting as a spectator, coaching or participating in the sport of hockey.
