Nondiscrimination. The Contractor shall comply with Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations ( 40 CFR) Part 7 which prohibits discrimination under any program or activity receiving EPA assistance on the basis of race, color, national origin, or gender, and 40 CFR part 12 which prohibits discrimination based on handicap. Part 7 and Part 12 detail requirements which include: Submission of an assurance that the Contractor will comply with the requirements of the regulations; maintenance of compliance information during the life of the contract and for three years after completing the project; and public notification that the Contractor does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, or handicap.
