The independent contractor shall submit invoices of hours and/or services to an appointee of the Parks Commission. The appointee shall authorize payment of the invoices to the City of Talent administration. Checks will become available on the same schedule for which all City contractors are normally provided with payment. At any point while the Independent Contractor is providing services, either the City of Talent or the Independent Contractor may reserve the right to end the contract. If either the City of Talent or Independent Contractor terminates the contract, the Independent Contractor shall be compensated for the services, which they provided before, the contract was terminated.
