As you know, your current Agricultural Lease with TRLIA and the State will end this year on December 31, 2017. I send this letter today to let you know that TRLIA is interested in extending the Agricultural leases in the Feather Setback Area. TRLIA is coordinating with the State regarding long-term ownership of the property that you are leasing. Recall that under the original funding agreement for the levee setback project (which created the setback area), this property was going to be returned to the State (this is explicitly stated in Section 16 of the existing lease).
