It is the desire of the Employer and the Union to enter an Agreement the wages, hours of work and working conditions, of the employees of the Employer in the classifications listed in the appropriate article contained herein and to prevent strikes, lockouts and other work stoppages and/or slowdowns during the term of the Agreement.
