The VA Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers is meant to be a clinical intervention that focuses on the needs of both the eligible Veteran and the eligible Primary and Secondary Family Caregivers. All eligibility criteria must be met in order to be approved and to continue to participate in the Program. Participation in the Program must be in the best interest of the Veteran and support progress in rehabilitation, recovery and the Veteran’s well-being.
