The Grant Springs Stewardship Contract is located in Price County, WI, T38N, R3E, Sections 9, 16, 17, 18, & 20. The Forest Service will be accepting sealed bids at the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District, 1170 4th Ave S, Park Falls, WI 54552 at 11:00 AM local time on 04/25/2017 for an estimated volume of 48 CCF of Mixed Conifer sawtimber, 1283 CCF of Mixed Hardwood sawtimber, 996 CCF of Aspen pulpwood, 96 CCF of Mixed Conifer pulpwood, and 6,916 CCF of Mixed Hardwood pulpwood marked for cutting. In addition, there are estimated quantities of 612 acres of Canopy Gap Site Prep identified as a Mandatory Stewardship Service Item that must be performed under the contract. Bid for sawtimber, pulpwood, and service items will be at fixed rates and must be accompanied with a technical proposal. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
