Agreement Between theResearch and Development • April 29th, 2005
The United States Department of Energy (DOE) and the Brazilian-Argentine Agency for Accounting and Control of Nuclear Materials (ABACC) (hereafter called "the Parties"), sharing a desire to cooperate on research, development, testing, and evaluation of technology, equipment, and procedures in order to improve nuclear material control, accountancy, verification, and advanced containment and surveillance technologies for international safeguards applications, hereby agree as follows:
