FiledFebruary 3rd, 2022It is the intent and purpose of the Baltimore City Lodge No. 3, Fraternal Order of Police, Inc. (“Lodge”) and the Baltimore City Police Department (“Employer” or “Department”) to promote and improve the efficiency of the operations of the City of Baltimore and the Baltimore Police Department. In order to render the most efficient public service to the citizens of the City, the Lodge and Employer agree that this goal can best be achieved through an orderly, constructive and harmonious relationship between them. The parties hereto are in further accord that effective employee relations in the public service requires a clear statement of wages, hours and working conditions and of the respective rights and obligations of labor and management and requires a mechanism for the peaceful and equitable resolution of differences which may arise. For these purposes the parties enter into this Memorandum of Understanding (“Memorandum”).
