This Agreement shall be for the purpose of NASA GRC and CWRU collaborating in the development of a spin-based solid-state quantum memory and sensors, and the subsequent quantum metrology techniques needed to evaluate performance and full quantum system integration requirements in both Diamond and Silicon Carbide ("SiC") material platforms. This activity will benefit NASA GRC by expanding its quantum metrology competences in the maturation of techniques that test and validate quantum device potential in the SiC platform that have mostly been observed in diamond platform. NASA GRC will accomplish this by leveraging its extensive expertise and infrastructure in SiC technology and development. This activity will benefit the CWRU by expanding its quantum device research beyond the diamond platform.
