The purpose of this agreement is to hinder potential and unforeseen conflict in regard to the co-development or sharing of other proprietary information, intellectual property, or similar between parties within the BioBrillouin network working together on a common project. It is in this regard also desirable to not compromise the patentability of inventions. It is primarily intended for collaborations between members of individual Working Groups (WGs) and work performed in the context of Short-term Scientific Mission (STSMs), however may be used for any collaborative projects between BioBrillouin Members in a suitably amended form if necessary. In particular, it may be required by Work Group leaders prior to a WG meeting where sensitive topics are presented or discussed. It is required to be completed and signed by both host and visiting parties involved in any BioBrillouin funded STSM activities, and emailed to the grant manager for filling.
