Contract Type FiledJuly 11th, 2007S ARTICLE S MANAGEMENT RIGHTS The CSU retains all powers and rights that have not been specifically covered by the contract (S.1). The CSU may contract out bargaining unit work so long as it does not displace an existing employee (S.2). The CSU must notify CSUEU when contracting out is to be for an initial long-term contract (S.S) or a successor contract (S.4). Notice to the Union must be at least 120 days prior to the commencement of long-term contracting out [defined as more than six months] (S.S) and at least 90 days prior to the issuance of an RFP for a successor contract (S.4). CSUEU must respond within S0 days of such notice (S.4). CSU shall provide CSUEU with all relevant documents prior to any meeting with CSUEU over contracting out (S.5).
