This Agreement, effective July l, 2023 is by and between the Chief Elected Official (CEO), who is the authorized representative of the units of general local government within the Greater New Bedford Workforce Development Area, and the MassHire Greater New Bedford Workforce Development Board (WDB). All parties agree to their respective roles and responsibilities in filling the requirements of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) as detailed in this agreement. Sections of WIOA, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), or Massachusetts General Law (MGL) are provided as references for all parties on applicable laws and regulations.
