Pursuant to Revised School Code Section 1229(1), MCL 380.1229(1), and in accordance with the action of the Board of Education of the Yale Public Schools (the "Board" or "School District") set forth in the July 2023 Board meeting, the Board employs Kurt Sutton hereinafter referred to as the "Superintendent") for a three (3) term beginning July 1, 2023, and ending on June 30, 2026, according to the terms and conditions of this Employment Agreement (the "Agreement") as specifically described below. The Board shall review this contract with the Superintendent on or before March 31st of each term. At this time the Board can take action to extend or terminate the contract. If no action is taken by the Board, this contract is deemed to be extended for another year.The Superintendent and the Board agree as follows:
