Except as otherwise indicated in 23.1 below, the provisions of this Agreement and its subsequent amendments shall be in effect from July 1, 2015 until June 30, 2018. The Association agrees to submit its initial proposal for a successor agreement or reopeners no later than March 1 of each year. The District agrees to present its initial proposal no later than 30 days following the public hearing for the association's proposal. The Association and the District agree to bgin negotiations following the public hearing of the District's proposal.
