The current labor agreement between the City of Shaker Heights and Teamsters Local Union No. 507 expired on December 31, 2021. The bargaining unit members continued to work under the terms of the expired contract as the negotiation teams worked toward a tentative agreement. Both parties persevered through negotiations until a tentative agreement was reached on April 27, 2022.
