In accepting placement as a volunteer, the Washtenaw County Agency will provide, to the best of its ability: • Specific services assignments. • A service description for each type of assignment. • Orientation to the Department’s policies and procedures. • Adequate training for the volunteer. • Adequate, continuous supervision of volunteer activities. • A climate of cooperation and respect between employed personnel and volunteers. In accepting appointment as a volunteer with the County Department of Human Services, I will, to the best of my ability: • Abide by the rules, policies and procedures of the Department. • Treat clients with respect. • Participate in authorized orientation and in-service training. • Perform the tasks included in my service description. I will report other needs to my supervisor. • Keep appointments and the agreed upon schedule. • Report planned absences as soon as possible. • Refrain from inappropriate usage of computer or internet services. • Report all pert
