The purpose of the Internship Credential Programs is to increase the pool of fully qualified teachers available to school districts. San Diego State University and the school district will form a partnership to better prepare future teachers. Operation of the Internship Program will be directed by San Diego State University, Director of the School of Teacher Education and/or Department Chair of Policy Studies in Language and Crosscultural Education, and/or Chair for the Department of Special Education, Coordinators of various programs within the departments, and district program managers and support providers.
