The County desires to contract with an External Financial Services firm to provide financial advising services to the County. Advice in the preparation, development and distribution of official statements, advice associated with short-term and long-term borrowings, general assistance to the County in negotiating debt and advice on other financial matters as deemed necessary by Jackson County. Jackson County’s Finance Director intends to utilize their services during the refunding of the General Obligation 2006 Library Bonds. The County has previously contracted with D.A. Davidson & Co., and based on the experience and expertise with the County, an additional three-year agreement to assist in current and future debt related transactions would be beneficial to the County.
