THIS CHARTER AGREEMENT, made this day of 2022, by and between the Boroughs of Pen Argyl, Wind Gap and Plainfield Township (individually considered Original Members) all political subdivisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, situate in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, hereafter referred to the as the “Municipalities”, and the Slate Belt Regional Police Department ("Department" ) which is an unincorporated nonprofit association regional police department that was established under the authority of 53 Pa. C.S.A. § 2301 et seq., as amended, and is organized and existing pursuant to a certain Charter Agreement, dated April 1, 2014.
