Contract Type FiledMay 14th, 2013One of the primary responsibilities of Trillium Family Services is maintaining strict confidentiality with respect to confidential information, defined below, regardless of whether that information is acquired or maintained orally, in writing or by electronic means. Those who violate this Confidentiality Policy and Agreement will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or discontinuation of services. Under Oregon law, Trillium Family Services may be legally liable for your actions in the performance of your duties as an employee/practitioner, student, volunteer or vendor/independent contractor. However, improper disclosure of confidential information could be considered not to be within the course and scope of your duties. As a result, Trillium Family Services could refuse to defend you in any legal action, which might be brought by a client for violating the client's confidentiality.
