A transfer student must present a record with a minimum of 23 transferable semester units and a minimum GPA of 2.3 for admission to Saint Mary's College.(2) To transfer with junior status a student must have 60 or more UC transferable semester units. All courses must be passed with a grade of 'C-' or higher to be considered a transferable course. Students at Saint Mary's College of California are required to complete a minimum of 36 course credits (approximately 120 units) toward a Bachelor's Degree.(3) The maximum number of units accepted from a community college is 64 semester units or 95 quarter units. All courses designated as UC transferable are transferable to Saint Mary's College of California.
