This Amended and Restated Affiliation Agreement ("Agreement") is signed this 29th day of August, to be effective as of September 1, 2014 (the “Effective Date”), by and between Wayne State University, a constitutional body corporate of the State of Michigan ("WSU"), and the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, formerly known as the Michigan Cancer Foundation, a Michigan nonprofit corporation ("KCI").
