This Intergovernmental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the Cities and Towns of Auburn, Edgewood, Fife, Fircrest, Gig Harbor, Lakewood, Milton, Puyallup, Steilacoom, Sumner, Tacoma, and University Place, Pierce County (each municipal corporations and political subdivisions of the State of Washington), and the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, a federally- recognized Indian tribe (the Tribe) Individually each member of SSHA3P is a “Party” and collectively, the “Parties”. This Agreement relates to the creation and operation of a joint undertaking among the Parties hereto to be known as the South Sound Housing Affordability Partners (“SSHA3P”). This Agreement is made pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act, chapter 39.34 RCW, and has been authorized by the legislative body of each government.
