The purpose of this Agreement is to protect confidential and proprietary information that will be shared between LADWP and the California Independent System Operator Corporation (CAISO). For LADWP to collaborate with CAISO and other adjacent transmission providers, planning entities and balancing authority areas, all of which will or have already executed a similar non-disclosure and use agreement with CAISO, LADWP is required to execute this Agreement. This collaboration includes the coordination of transmission planning studies and the desire to obtain from each other certain planning and interconnection studies and other pertinent transmission information that the parties anticipate will contain confidential or proprietary data, as further described in the Agreement. Upon approval, this Agreement shall remain in effect unless and until either party provides ten days prior written notice to the other party of its desire to terminate said Agreement.
