THIS INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT (hereinafter the “Agreement”) is entered into by and between the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, a unit of local government and body corporate and politic, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Illinois (hereinafter the “District”) and the Village/City of XXXXXXXX, a municipal corporation and home rule/non-home rule unit of government organized and existing under Article VII, Section 6/7 of the 1970 Constitution of the State of Illinois (hereinafter the “Municipality”).
