This Agreement reflects the position that the Author should retain the copyright in the Article and have explicit rights to use the Article in future research, teaching, and other projects. The Journal, as publisher, should have rights to publish the article in various formats and to license the publication of the Article through third-party database providers. This Agreement is based on the assumption that the Author is in fact the copyright owner.
