This Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and effective on the last date executed (“Effective Date”), by and among the Carpinteria Valley Water District, the City of Carpinteria, the Santa Barbara County Water Agency and the County of Ventura, sometimes referred to herein individually as a “Member” and collectively as the “Members,” for purposes of forming the Carpinteria Groundwater Sustainability Agency (“Agency”) and setting forth the terms pursuant to which the Agency shall operate.
