The Vermont Community Foundation (VCF) may make a grant to a fiscal sponsor (the “Grantee”) to further its charitable work by assisting in and supporting programs and projects of a non-501(c)(3) organization (the “Sub-Grantee”) that is consistent with the mission of the fiscal sponsor. The fiscal sponsor can be a 501(c)(3) public charity, a municipality or government agency, or a religious institution recognized as a public charity by the IRS.
